| Beignet Mix - One
Package ●1 cup all purpose flour ●1/2 cup sugar ●1/4 teaspoon cinnamon ●1/8 teaspoon nutmeg ●1/4 teaspoon salt Added later ●1/4 cup butter or margarine ●3/4 cup water ●3 teaspoons sugar ●1 package Beignet mix ●4 large eggs ●vegetable oil for frying ●powdered sugar |

| ● Combine
Beignet Mix dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl ● In a medium saucepan, combine the butter, water, and sugar. ● Bring the mixture to a boil and remove the pan from the heat. ● Add the Beignet mix and beat with a wooden spoon until the mixture leaves the sides of the pan. ● Add the eggs, one at a time, and beat until the mixture is smooth. ● Heat 4 inches of oil in a heavy 5 to 6 quart saucepan to 360 degrees F. ● Drop the dough by tablespoonfuls into the oil, and cook about 3 minutes until each is puffed and golden. ● Drain the beignets on paper towels ● Sift powdered sugar over each one ● Makes 2 dozen. ● Enjoy! |

Beignet Mix in jar. Place 8" x 8" square of decorative
cloth over closed lid with rubber band. Attach Tag with instructions.
