| ● 1 pkg. yeast ● 1/4 cup warm water ● 1 tsp sugar for yeast preparation ● 1 tsp sugar for bread preparation ● 1 cup cottage cheese ● 1 1/2 tbs minced onion ● 1 tbs dill weed ● 1/2tsp baking powder ● 1 tsp salt ● 1 tbs sugar ● 1 egg ● 2 - 3 cups All purpose flour ● shortening to grease bowl |

Sharp knife or chopper for onions Loaf Pan or Baking Sheet |

| ● Prepare
yeast: Sprinkle yeast over water. Sprinkle on sugar. Let set. ● Mix: cottage cheese, minced onion, dill weed, salt, sugar, egg ● Combine and add yeast mixture. ● Add 2 cups flour and knead in approximately 1 cup more. ● Knead ● Let rise in greased bowl until doubled (about 60 minutes) ● Make into loaf and let rise 40 minutes ● Bake 375 degree oven for 35 to 40 minutes. |
